I just received this through e-mail and just HAD to put it up here. I bet someone would purchase these on eBay!
It is somewhat embarrassing to admit, but Christmas is tight this year. Therefore, I’ve decided that I will be making bedroom slippers for you all as gifts. Please let me know your sizes as soon as possible. You’ll most likely agree that it’s a splendid idea, and should you wish to do the same, I’ve included the instructions below.
How to make bedroom slippers out of maxi pads:
You need four maxi pads to make a pair.
Two of them get laid out flat, for the foot part.
The other two wrap around the toe area to form the top.
Tape or glue each side of the top pieces to the bottom of the foot part.
Decorate the tops with whatever you desire, silk flowers (this is most aesthetically appealing), etc.
These slippers are:
* Soft and Hygienic
* Non-slip grip strips on the soles
* Built in deodorant feature keeps feet smelling fresh
* No more bending over to mop up spills
* Disposable and biodegradable
* Environmentally safe
* Three convenient sizes: (1.) Regular, (2.) Light and (3.) Get out the Sand Bags.
I’ve attached a photo of the first pair I made so that you can see the
nifty slippers for yourself….

Step 1 - spend a few weeks gathering road kill. Put the skins in the freezer to stall decomposition and reduce smell. I hear an open container of baking soda in the freezer can also help.
Step 2 - combine all dead animals to resemble the ellusive Big Foot - a giant half-man/half-ape like creature which roams the wooded areas of several continents. Gorilla Glue may work well (LOL).
Step 3 - inform the gullible media that you have a true, original, Big Foot carcus in your posession. For fun you could also tell them that the stomach contents of the Sasquach contains Paris Hilton’s missing dogs.

Step 4 - get loads of free press and then get exposed as a fraud.
Step 5 - sell the smelly gross fake ape-like creature on eBay and make more in one week than you’d make in a couple of years!

Oh my goodness! I feel bad for what this woman is going through….but at the same time I am just laughing like crazy.
Her Husband cheated on her and she is listing the evidence on eBay. The best part of this unfortunate happening - besides the “tarts knickers” - is her description of the discovery and the follow-up she posted.
You have to check out this auction, click here.
Plus, if you are into internet marketing then take a look at the number of ‘hits’she has received towards the bottom. What would you do with THAT many hits?
Do you remember the guy that auctioned off his ex-wife’s wedding dress? He was a manly-man and took pictures of himself in the dress to advertise it. He definitely had his ‘15 minutes of fame’. I’m sure you could still find it out on the web somewhere…I found it….here it is.
I need to work on thinking up something totally unusual that would get a ton of hits and use those leads for future sales……hmm……now is sooo not the time for me to start brainstorming…I’ll work on that later.

I was interested in the art of basket weaving. It’s something I remember doing in Girl Scouts many moons ago and I thought it would be neat to do it again. I had just cut down some vine type things that were weaving themselves in and out of a chain link fence. I soaked them for a day or so and started on my weaving adventure. I found some good directions for making a melon basket online. My first attempt at a basket didn’t turn out so hot. I formed the 2 loops and started on the God’s Eye part. It wasn’t too sturdy and even though I soaked the vines, they kept breaking on me! I haven’t sat down to attempt another basket yet - but I will.
From that venture into native crafts I began looking up information on uses for other natural materials - Continue reading ‘Profits from Pine Needles?’
